Silvia Ammary has a Ph.D. in American Literature. She did her MA in American drama (the drama of Tennessee Williams and Arthur Miller) and her PhD on the influence of Futurism on the poetry of e.e.Cummings. She published a book entitled Building Skills for an English Proficiency Test: Practice Makes Perfect in 2005, Al–Warraq Publisher, Amman, which gives students guidelines on how to prepare for a proficiency test. Ammary delivered academic papers in many prestigious conferences around the world on Arabic literature and American literature. She is currently teaching at John Cabot University as an adjunct professor of English Literature. She also coordinator of ENLUS: English Language for University Studies. Ammary is interested in world literature, American literature and TESOL. Ammary lives in Rome and is married with one child.
