Society nowadays is a “Communication Society” but, at the same time, it is a “Risk Society”. The communicative process, if well performed, is fundamental for the success of the operations of prevention, management and resolution of every kind of emergency. A good exchange of information can avoid or limit a risk, reducing its impact. An efficient planning of the communication process is the key to face and solve a crisis, so it is fundamental to invest in its development.
