Summary: For over three decades, the SCBT-MR has hosted a world renowned faculty's comprehensive review of state-of-the-art body CT and MRI. The 2009 Course contains 30 hours of over 80 presentations from 50 faculty members, focusing on the latest advances in imaging, including: MSK, GI, GU, thoracic, cardiovascular, trauma, pancreas, PET, breast, pelvis and Spectral CT, plus case reviews in cardiac CT and CT Colonography. Completion of this DVD-ROM can meet the American College of Radiology’s accreditation requirements for CME in both CT and MR.The learning objectives of this course are to: 1. Use MDCT and MRI for evaluation of diseases involving the thorax, GI tract, GU, vascular and MSK systems;2. Implement oncological applications of PET for the evaluation of tumors involving the abdomen and pelvis;. Implement the newest methods for patient safety related to radiation dose and contrast media;4. Utilize MDCT and MRI to better evaluate diseases of the heart and vascular system; and 5. Utilize MDCT for colon cancer screening.
