Social and environmental accounting. Research advantages and new perspectives

The papers of this book were selected and presented at the Third Italian Conference on Social and Environmental Accounting Research, held in Catania, Faculty of Economics, University of Catania on 17 and 18 September 2010 in collaboration with the University of Bergamo and Bologna and the University of St—Andrews. The Italian Conference “CSEAR 2010" takes its name from the European structure CSEAR (Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research) based in St-Andrews (Scotland) and which is the place that promotes conferences and scientific debate on this subject. The occasion have shown the commitment of those who participated to diffuse and to develop research on the social responsibility pathways undertaken by the organizations that decide to build social and environmental accounting systems.
