New English For Success

New English for Success is a revised modern coursebook designed for high school and university students. It aims at being innovative because it applies some principles from modern psychosocio-neuro-linguistics, matching theory and practice, working on “chunks” rather than on isolated words, respecting the way our brain works. It involves learners in numerous mental activities: reflecting first of all, and also underlining, going back and forward, recalling, adapting, correcting, revising, foreseeing, completing, capitalizing on the diverging thought and exploiting learning and acquisition principles. It is practical as it fosters both receptive and productive skills through integrated activities, leaving learners freedom of approach to the solutions of language problems. It is effective as it aims at equipping adult learners with abilities and competences, the so-called“life skills”, necessary both for academic success and success in their future life.
