Local Character Assessment. Artisans, crafts and the historic environment of Penyagolosa, Spain

The book analyse a cultural space in which a series of values and attributes converge and that need to be managed together. This approach focuses on understanding the protection, preservation and recreation of the tangible and intangible heritage found in the small municipalities of Penyagolosa. Through an exhaustive field work, the volume addresses the need to understand the intangible values, the society, the artisans, the attributes, the materials and the forms of the places that constitute these small rural populations.
