In Vitro Neuronal Networks. Computational Models And Synaptic Plasticity Studies

In this thesis, submitted for the degree of Philosophiae Doctor in Bioengineering and Bioelectronics at the University of Genova, the author presented under an engineering approach a well structured work about neuronal dynamics and synaptic modification (plasticity) induced by electrical stimulation. To reach this goal, an experimental approach, in conjunction with mathematical models were developed and used.
