Digital Piemonte. A Study In Transforming Regional Mobility With Information And Integration

Digital Piemonte is a visionary project to create a rich digital technology infrastructure that enables dynamic management of mobility and transactions for social and commercial benefits at a regional scale. A new regional system requires new approaches to effectively integrate the numerous platforms and organizations that manage the physical, information and financial flows of goods, services, and individuals. This research report explores the possibility of transforming mobility in the Piemonte region of Italy with a new system of integrated digital regional management and to let the area become a virtual laboratory for research around new technologies and integrated systems. The purpose is to draw a model for regional–scaled mobility management.Dr. Jarrod D.
