Through a true "story telling", the monograph will present the path of the studio in its first twenty years of activity, as well as the path of the two founders, their experience and their personal history that later united them professionally, also examining their respective Japanese and Apulian roots, as well as their education in homeland and abroad. Three macro-themes that are important and recurrent in the studio's work - namely "Nature", "History" and "Work" - will be a further key to interpreting the projects signed by Alvisi + Kirimoto, also analysed through both a critical introductory text by Philip Jodidio and various projects, described with texts, images and identifying models.
