Advances in Carotid Artery Stenting [Setacci - Minerva Medica]

Carotid Artery Stenting (CAS) was developed about 20 years ago as a less invasive treatment for carotid artery disease compared with carotid endarterectomy (CEA). This book provides an updated overview about materials, including new devices to simplify the carotid approach, as well as tips and tricks to avoid intra-procedural and post-procedural complications and suggestions on how to diagnose and deal with them.
