A new life for Zayanderud

How to bring life back, with new-generation public spaces and services, to the Zayanderud riverbed that is dry for 11 months of the year? How to reintegrate this empty space into the urban form of Isfahan through flexible solutions? How to transform the condition of water level variability from a problem to an opportunity? These in a brief summary are the questions addressed in the design workshop held online in September 2021 as part of the Cultural Agreements between the Department of Planning Design and Technology of Architecture, Sapienza – University of Rome and Daneshpajhooan Pishro DHEI in Isfahan.
